In my humble opinion, the Jeep Renegade is worth every penny as a capable and practical SUV. It hurts to be taunted by these SUVs as they adventure in other countries. Stellantis dropped the Renegade in America but the refreshed 2026 model looks great with an even more attractive starting price.Â

While I mourn the loss of the Jeep Renegade, it lives on with its adventurous spirit in other countries. Drivers in Brazil get to enjoy the 2026 model that has been updated to provide more value.Â
For example, the Renegade Sport starts at $23,600 and doesn’t skimp on the basics. It starts with LED lightning, safety tech, and plenty of creature comforts.Â
Lower trim levels have a 7.0-inch infotainment system but higher trim levels offer a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster that’s paired with an 8.4-inch infotainment system. Plus, you can opt for a panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, and the Adventure Intelligence system.Â
The Renegade provides 8.7 inches of ground clearance with full-time 4×4, off-roading drive modes, and hill descent control.Â
According to Mopar Insiders, the most expensive Renegade is the 10-Year Commemorative Edition which starts at $37,200. It includes leather seats, exclusive wheels, special embroidery, a matching t-shirt, and a backpack.Â
The 2026 Jeep Renegade starts with a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine with 177 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque. But rumors suggest that a hybrid engine and more powerful turbo are on the way.Â
With the 48-volt mild hybrid system, you get an extra 28 hp and 40.5 lb-ft of torque. The system is charged via the combustion engine and regenerative braking.
