If nosey neighbors didn’t exist then criminals would get away with a lot more crimes. A Montana woman decided to report a suspicious truck to the police. Things ended up leading to a massive drug bust that got meth off the street.

Montana woman reports suspicious truck that’s filled with drugs

Police officers responded to the scene of a suspicious truck in a Missoula parking lot. The tenant shared that the black Nissan truck with a topper had been sitting in the back lot for about five days.

The caller noted that one of the windows was broken, and they weren’t sure if the truck was stolen or not. When an officer arrived, a white Ford F-150 pulled up behind her. A male exited the white truck and stood next to the black one.

She asked if it belonged to him, and he said yes. He shared that his name was Rodney Sherman and just had keys made for the Nissan. Sherman claimed that he brought the truck on a dolly to be rekeyed.

Then the dolly got jackknifed under the truck and he left it there for a few days. Sherman had a warrant for his arrest related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, so the officer started to arrest him.

During the process, she found multiple baggies of meth in his pockets. According to News Talk KGVO, Sherman admitted to using meth a little earlier in the day. His truck also had pill bottles filled with Adderall.

He was charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs. In March, he was charged with felony theft for stealing a camper and failing to display license plates.
