Stay calm out there this summer. I know that road trips can be frustrating and heat doesn’t help, but road rage makes everything worse. Three men in Florida got arrested for getting out of their truck to beat up an SUV driver.

3 Florida men jump out of a truck to attack an SUV driver

An SUV driver was traveling in the 12400 block of Griffin Road when the driver of a large pickup truck began flashing his lights at them from behind.

As the drivers came to a stop at the intersection of Griffin and Flamingo Road, things got violent. The truck pulled up beside the SUV and started screaming. One passenger threw water on the SUV driver.

Then three men got out of the pickup to attack. They have been identified as 18-year-old David Blade, 23-year-old Brayden Baxter, and  18-year-old Justin Zeller.

Blade was witnessed breaking the driver’s side mirror off the victim’s vehicle. Then he reached into the vehicle and struck the driver. According to police officers, he then went to the passenger door and forcefully pulled the driver out.

According to Local 10, that’s when Baxter and Zellar got out of the pickup and joined in. The men repeatedly punched and kicked the victim. An independent witness confirmed the story and shared he heard the SUV driver screaming sorry as he was attacked.

Police officers shared that the assault was unprovoked. Blade was arrested on charges of burglary with assault or battery and criminal mischief. Baxter and Zellar are both facing a battery charge.
